The Bag Ladies held an exciting "BAGtasmagoria" workshop on Saturday 20th August, 2006 at the Golden Bay Community Centre, funded by the Tasman Creative Communities, enabling the community to create, paint, decorate or sew their own bags!

All sorts of pre-loved, strong materials, off-cuts, thread, buttons, haberdashery items were donated for the workshop; several "master-sewers" were available to tutor for the day - and some fabulous bags were created.
